The first day of NaNoWriMo has ended! My word count so far is 3,268. I feel pretty good about my progress, but I have a lot of writing to do tomorrow to top 10,000, which is my goal for the weekend.

I made it to 3,410 or so yesterday. I won't feel like writing much on Tuesday given my election work hours of 5:00 am until 9:00 pm (if I'm lucky), so I had to get a day ahead early on. Wolves again for you? I'm doing, what else, zombies.
I'm such a slow writer, i can hardly write 1000 words a day, don't know if I can ever do NaNo! but well done you! according to my calculations you only need to write 1666.66667 words a day to meet 50.000 words, so I think you're doing great!
Valentina-- I'm writing about something different from last year, not wolves but humans...and a cheetah. The genre is dark fantasy, but I don't really know much more than that about it so far.

Actually, I'm doing something else this year. The only animal it involves so far is a cheetah. It's cool that your doing zombies again!
