The Best of Poe, by Edgar Allen Poe, is a collection of short stories and poems including The Raven, The Tell-Tale Heart, The Black Cat, The Pit and the Pendulum, and many more. Some of my favorites were The Gold Bug and A Tale of the Ragged Mountains. There were also a few a few I didn't like. I found The Black Cat disturbing! Hop-Frog Or The Eight Chained Ourang-Outangs was very weird! Overall, I enjoyed the book very much! It was a fun introduction to Poe.
I give this book 9 out of 10 stars!

I find it so cool that you gave Poe a try. There are indeed many weird, strange, and disturbing tales there, but they are deliciously creepy and fun nonetheless. If you ever get a chance to see any of these performed I think you'd really enjoy them. We've had a couple of years where they did Gatherings in Graveyards at the children's theatre in which they put on 3 different short plays based on the works of Poe and other classic scary short story authors. Very cool.
